Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on behalf of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) announced the KVS NVS Tier 2 Exam Schedule 2026. Candidates who cleared the Tier 1 hurdle now should ready for next selection process.
KVS NVS Tier 2 exams are set to take place from March 27 to March 31, 2026, these exams will be organized in two shifts morning and afternoon.

KVS NVS Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026
Unlike Tier 1, which served as a screening test, the Tier 2 marks will be added to your final merit list. This means every mark counts!
- Format: The exam will be a mix of Objective (MCQs) and Descriptive questions.
- Structure: Most posts will follow a 100-mark paper (60 Objective + 40 Descriptive).
- Duration: You will have 2.5 hours to complete the paper.
- Focus: Expect post-specific questions that test your deep subject knowledge and job-related competencies.
Key Information for Shortlisted Candidates
- City Intimation Slip: You can expect to see your exam city details about 10 days before the exam (around March 17) via the official login portal.
- Admit Cards: Final hall tickets will be available for download 4 days before your specific exam date.
- Mandatory Documents: Don’t forget to carry a printed copy of your admit card and a valid original Photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, or Voter ID) to the center.
