Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university.
- For specific Auditor posts (CCA, State Transport Authority & Directorate of Industries), a PGDCA certificate from a recognized institute is mandatory.
- Applicants should have basic computer knowledge, including internet use, email, word processing, data analysis, and presentations.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia as per the rules mentioned in the notification.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 21 and 42 years of age.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- 5 years for SEBC, SC, ST, and Women candidates
- 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
- Ex-Servicemen: Length of defence service + 3 years
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS, and other categories need to pay ₹500.
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates are fully exempted from paying any fee.
Salary/Pay Scale
- Candidates selected for Group-B positions will be placed at Level-9, Cell-1 and will receive a salary between ₹35,400 and ₹1,12,400.
- Group-C Junior Assistant/Clerk posts fall under Level-4, Cell-1, with pay ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.
Selection Process & OSSC CGLRE Pattern
- Preliminary Exam: Objective-type test of 150 marks covering aptitude, reasoning, current affairs, computer knowledge, and Odisha-specific subjects. It is a qualifying stage, and candidates five times the vacancies will be shortlisted for Mains.
- Main Exam: Consists of two papers—Language (Odia & English) and General Studies. Each paper carries 100 marks, making a total of 200 marks.
- Skill/Additional Tests: Mathematics test is required for Auditor posts, while a Computer Skill Test is compulsory for certain Group-B and Group-C posts.
- Certificate Verification: Final document checking will be conducted for candidates shortlisted at 1.5 times the vacancies.
