Duties
The Examiner of Trade Marks & Geographical Indications is responsible for performing quasi-judicial functions as prescribed under intellectual property laws. Under the direction of the Registrar, the examiner examines applications, studies responses filed by applicants, and carries out other related administrative or quasi-judicial work when required.
