Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
The eligibility criteria for Income Tax Recruitment 2024 are set by the authorities. It involves education qualification and age limit. As per the IT Department norms, the candidates must fulfil these criteria:
- Income Tax Inspector: Graduation in any discipline.
- Tax Assistant: Graduation along with possessing the required typing speed.
- Stenographer Grade-II: 12th pass.
- MTS/ Multi Tasking Staff: 10th pass.
The upper age limit to apply for IT recruitment in 2024 is 30 for income tax inspectors and 27 for multi-tasking staff and tax assistants. Candidates with the age of 18 or above can apply for the various posts in IT Department recruitment.

Income Tax Inspector: RS. 44,900/- to RS. 1,42,500/- Per Month
Tax Assistant: RS. 25,500/- to RS. 81,100/- Per Month
MTS: RS. 18,000/- to RS. 56,900/- Per Month
